Billy Coleman
Pastor
Pastor Billy is an ordained minister in the Global Methodist Church and became the pastor at Cornerstone in 2023. He has been preached all over the state of Alabama and served his first church when he was 19 years old. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in administration, and 30 years of experience in Alabama public schools as a coach, teacher, principal and superintendent. Billy loves to quote John 3:30: “I must decrease but Christ must increase.” He believes as we follow this simple advice from John the Baptist, the church strives to grow in Christ as we serve him together.
“It is such a blessing to be a part of Cornerstone with so many wonderful believers who strive to do God’s will and follow God’s word every day. This church is alive! Jesus Christ is our Lord, the cornerstone of our faith. Thanks be to God.”
